Insulated Water Facility Solution

Site Type: South West of England
Location: South West of Engl
Services Provided: Design, Manufacture, and Installation
Project Cost: £37,295.96

Project Scope

The project required the creation of a robust, insulated structure to house critical equipment at a water treatment facility. Key objectives included the installation of a weather-resistant enclosure, integration of access points and provision for ventilation. The client supplied a prepared concrete pad, and the task involved delivering a complete structural and cladding solution designed to meet operational and environmental requirements.

The Solution

A prefabricated steel framework was engineered and installed onto the client’s concrete foundation, providing a stable structural base. Insulated cladding sheets were then fitted to the steel framework, ensuring thermal efficiency and protection from external conditions. To accommodate ventilation, two cutouts were created at either end of the building to fit louvers, ensuring adequate air circulation within the structure. The building’s design also incorporated steel doors for secure and practical access.

Products That Were Supplied and Installed

  • Steel Framework: Installed on the provided concrete pad to serve as the building's structural foundation.
  • Insulated Cladding Sheets: Fitted onto the steel framework to create a weatherproof and thermally efficient enclosure.
  • Steel Doors: Installed on the front of the building to provide secure and functional access.
  • Ventilation Louvers: Integrated through custom cutouts at either end of the building for airflow management.
